Range scans

Many range scanners provide both sets of points in 3D and
RGB images. We are developing new algorithms to exploit this
information during 3D rigid registration, using it during (a)
initialization, (b) during ICP convergence, and (c) when deciding if
two images are well-aligned. Watch here for a substantial new result
in this area.
